Melbourne: Sunday of the Veneration of the Holy Cross in Box Hill
The Sunday of the Veneration of the Holy Cross was celebrated with due ecclesiastical splendour in Melbourne, with the centre of the celebrations taking place at the Church of the Holy Cross in the suburb of Box Hill, where His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis officiated at the Matins and presided over the Divine Liturgy.
His Grace Bishop Themistocles of Nicopolis, from the Patriarchate of Alexandria, concelebrated the Divine Liturgy, as well as the Parish Priest, Father Dionysios Rallis and Father Dimitrios Drougas.
Bishop Kyriakos spoke appropriately to the congregation about the great feast of our Church and conveyed the blessings and wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
