Rev. Deacon John Kokenis Lieutenant of the United States Navy is Welcomed to the Archdiocese Headquarters

April 16, 2024, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America received the Rev. Deacon John Kokenis, Lieutenant of the United States Navy, at the Archdiocese headquarters. The recently ordained Deacon John, a clergyman of the Holy Metropolis of Chicago and a candidate for Navy Chaplaincy, is visiting New York for the elevation of his cousin, Bishop-elect Anthony of the Synades. Also present in the meeting was the Rev. Archdeacon Dionysios.
