Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi at the Summer Residence of the German Embassy
On Monday, 22 April 2024, on the occasion of the visit of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, to Turkey, His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi, and Deacon Oikoumenios represented His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the Ecumenical Patriarchate at the reception held in honour of the said President at the Summer Residence of the German Embassy in Therapia.
Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, representing Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Turkish Government, Abdullah Gül, former President of the Republic of Türkiye, Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mayor of Constantinople, ambassadors of many countries, clergymen of other denominations, and other guests were all present.
