Melbourne: Vespers for the Feast Day of Panagia Portaitissa at the Church of the Dormition of Our Lady, North Altona
His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne, officiated during the Vespers Service on the occasion of the Synaxis of Panagia Portaitissa at the Church of the Dormition of Our Lady in the suburb of North Altona in Melbourne. In the said Holy Church, a copy of the Holy Icon of Panagia Portaitissa from the Holy Monastery of Iveron on Mount Athos is treasured.
During the Vespers Service, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis was joined by Father Dimitrios Drougas, Father Antonios Vanikiotis and Father Dimitrios Catrinei, Parish Priest.
At the end of the Vespers, Bishop Kyriakos conveyed to the faithful the wishes and blessings of their Chief Shepherd, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
