Melbourne: Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council at the Russian-speaking Parish of The Holy Virgin’s Protection
On Sunday, 16 June 2024, the day in which the Church honours the memory of the Holy God-bearing Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, visited and liturgised at the Russian-speaking Parish of The Holy Virgin’s Protection, in South Yarra, Melbourne.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos conveyed to all the parishioners, the wishes and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia. He also thanked the Parish Priest, Archimandrite Father Tikhon Romonov for the invitation, while he informed the congregation about the upcoming Apostolic Visit of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Australia, this coming October.
