Patriarch John X congratulates the Patriarch of Bulgaria
“We received the news of your election with joy, and we ask God Almighty to support you.”

Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East John X sent a message of congratulations to Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria following his election to the patriarchal throne.
The message states:
“We have received with great joy the news of your election as Patriarch of Sofia and All of Bulgaria. We congratulate you and ask God Almighty to bestow His heavenly blessings on your Beatitude so that you may serve the Church that He has redeemed.”
