On Thursday afternoon, 1 August 2024, the reception of the Holy Relics of the Newly Appeared Martyrs Saints Raphael, Nicholas and Irene of Lesvos, as well as Saint Luke the Doctor, Bishop of Simferopol and Crimea, took place at the female Monastery of Saint Nektarios Bishop of Pentapolis and Saint Phanourios, in Trikorfo, Fokida.

The Holy Relics were received in the propylaea of ​​the Katholikon Church of the Holy Monastery by the local Shepherd, His Eminence Metropolitan Theoktistos of Fokida. The Holy Relics departed from Mytilene (Lesvos) with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos of Mytilene.

Immediately after this, there was a prayer service in the Katholikon Church of the Monastery for the reception of the holy Relics, which was then followed the Small Supplication Service to the Virgin Mary, which was officiated by Metropolitan Theoktistos of Fokida.

After the end of the Paraklesis Service, the Protosyncellus of Holy Metropolis of Fokida, Archimandrite Nektarios Moulatsiotis, thanked the two Venerable Hierarchs who gave their blessing for the Holy Relics to make their way to Fokida, as well as the Abbot of the Holy Ypsilos Monastery in Mytilene, Archimandrite Prochoros, where he in turn gave the required permission.

After this, His Eminence Metropolitan Theoktistos of Fokida also spoke, who in turn thanked the Metropolitan of Mytilene and the Abbot of the Holy Ypsilos Monastery and spoke for a few minutes to the faithful.

With their presence, the clergy of the Holy Metropolis of Fokida, the Mayor of Dorida, Mr. Dimitrios Giannopoulos, representatives of the Law enforcement agency and hundreds of believers from the surrounding areas honoured the Saints.

A monastic meal and hospitality then followed for all the officials and the faithful.

The Holy Relics will remain for the blessing and sanctification of the faithful until 28 August 2024. All these days the Female Holy Monastery of Saints Nektarios and Phanourios will remain open from 8:00 in the morning until sunset. Every evening there will be Vespers and the Supplication Service (Paraklesis) to the Virgin Mary.
