Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to visit Metropolis of Polyana and Kilkis
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will conduct a four-day official visit (21 – 24 September 2024) to the Holy Metropolis of Polyana and Kilkis, which this year is celebrating its 100th anniversary of its establishment. It is worth noting that this is the first time that the Ecumenical Patriarch is visiting the Holy Metropolis of Polyana and Kilkis.
On Saturday, 21 September 2024, at 12 midday, the official reception of the Patriarch will take place in front of the Holy Metropolitan Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour in Kilkis.
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will also be awarded as an Honorary Citizen of Kilkis, and will bless many activities of the Holy Metropolis and will officiate on Sunday, 22 September 2024, at the Holy Metropolitan Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour.
