His Grace Bishop Silvester Kisitu of Gulu and Eastern Uganda welcomed the president of Orthodox Missionary Fraternity

On Monday, September 30, 2019, His Grace Bishop Silvester Kisitu of Gulu and Eastern Uganda, upon his invite, welcomed a team of two friends of the Mission from Thessaloniki – Greece; Mr. Charalambos Mttallidis the president of Orthodox Missionary Fraternity and Mr. Nikolaos a journalist.

Their purpose is to do a documentary on the history and status of the Orthodox Mission work in the steps of the missionary journey of Rev. Archimandrite Chrysostomos Papasarantopoulos in Uganda as well as observe the progress of the mission work in the New diocese of Gulu and Eastern Uganda. To kick start their work, they visited His Eminence Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga at the Metropolis headquarters in Kampala and all the institutions at Namungoona. They will travel to various Orthodox centers in the different parts of the country.
