Church today venerates the memory of martyrs Zenobius and Zenobia

The Church today venerates the memory of the Holy Martyrs Zenobius and His Sister Zenobia. The siblings hailed from the province of Cilicia, in southeast Asia Minor. Zenobius was a physician and healer. Due to his virtue he was consecrated a Bishop of his native city. With his sister he was arrested, tortured and beheaded for his faith during the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s persecutions.
