Greece’s education and religious affairs ministry is reportedly preparing a circular announcing the restoration of the practice of school classes attending mass during the Feast Day of the Three Holy Hierarchs, considered as the patron saints of education by the Orthodox Church, which is annually commemorated on Jan. 30.

The decades-old practice was abolished by the previous leftist SYRIZA government’s education minister.
