The Orthodox mission in the east African country of Tanzania this week hosted a special holiday dinner table for children at a mission, with the blessing of the Metropolitan of Eirinoupolis, His Eminence Demetrios.

Finally, on the same continent, the Nativity of Christ was celebrated at all of the Orthodox parishes of Congo-Brazzaville.

On his part, the Metropolitan of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, His Eminence Panteleimon, officiated at a midnight Divine Liturgy at the St. Demetrius Orthodox Cathedral of Pointe-Noire, while extending his best wishes and prayers for the people of the west Africa country via an address on state television, which broadcast the service.
