On 2 February 2020, The 33rd Sunday after Pentecost, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova conducted the celebration of the Divine Liturgy in the parish of the Entry of the Theotokos into the Church, representing the Moldovan Orthodox Church in Moscow (Moscow, 8/2c 4, Barashevsky per.).

The official representation of the Orthodox Church of Moldova in Moscow was created in accordance with the patriarchal decree No. 02/1657 of 01.09.2015, for the purpose of answering the spiritual needs of the members of Moldovan diaspora in the capital of the Russian Federation.

Metropolitan Vladimir, as rector of this parish, visited the church as part of a broader program of a delegation of the Moldovan Orthodox Church participating in the celebration of the 11th anniversary of inauguration of Patriarch Kirill at the helm of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Concelebrating to Metropolitan Vladimir during the Sunday Liturgy were archimandrite Nicolae (Rosca), Confessor and Administrator of the Monastery of Ciuflea in Chisinau, and the clergy of the holy shrine.

Bishop Ioan of Soroca, Vicar of the Metropolis of Moldova, was present in the holy altar among the worshipers.

After the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Vladimir addressed a message of greeting and congratulation to the praying community, appreciating their exemplary spiritual unity and love for sacred matters. The hierarch expressed hope that the worshipers will continue to promote our sacred values even living far away from their homes.
