The Elder Metropolitan of Piraeus, His Eminence Kallinikos, continues to be hospitalized in serious condition.
The former metropolitan of Greece’s largest port city was elected to the throne of the Metropolis of Piraeus by the Church of Greece’s Holy Synod in January 1978, stepping down in February 2006 due to health reasons.
