The ritual of the Washing of Feet was again held on Holy and Great Thursday, according to the ancient rites was again held at the semi-autonomous monastic community of Mt. Athos, in northern Greece.
The entire Vatopedi brotherhood watched as the Elder Archimandrite Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi, washed the feet of 12 monks of the brotherhood.
