South Korea – Construction of the Dormition of the Holy Theotokos Church in Jeonju has commenced

The Orthodox Metropolis of Korea has issued an update regarding the construction of the Dormition of the Holy Theotokos Church in Jeonju.

The statement reads:

Construction of the Dormition of the Holy Theotokos Church in Jeonju and the adjoining Spiritual Center began on April 6, 2020, and is continuing at a rapid pace.

We ask the Lord, through the intersessions of the Holy Theotokos, to help complete the work in the best way possible, so that our Parish in Jeonju may acquire its permanent Church and Spiritual Center to serve the liturgical and pastoral needs of the Parish.

We thank the distinguished architect, Mr. Aristides Boursinos, for his free offering of architectural designs and his sacrificial love for our Church in Korea.
