Wildfire affects portion of renowned archaeological site in Greece

A wildfire in southern Greece on Sunday scorched a portion of the Mycenae archaeological site in southern Greece, the seat of the eponymous Mycenaean civilization, which predated Classical antiquity and is associated with legendary king Agamemnon in Homer’s Iliad.
