Greek gov’t spox Petsas to announce how churches will operate over Christmas on Friday

Government spokesperson Stelios Petsas will brief reporters on Friday on adjusting restrictive safety measures against the coronavirus for the Christmas festive season.

However, speaking on Alpha 9.89 radio station on Thursday he noted that “it is certain we will not be heading to an all-out reopening, as some might have envisaged.”

The health ministry’s committee of coronavirus experts is considering the particulars regarding retail shops, hairdressers, and also how churches will operate over Christmas.

Development & Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis will also participate at Petsas’ Friday briefing.

Greece is currently oberving a nationwide lockdown until December 14.
