His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova participated in on-line Session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church
On Tuesday, 8th December 2020, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova participated in on-line Session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Due to the worsening of the epidemiological situation, it was decided hold the session of the Holy Synod using Zoom conferencing platform.
Inaugurating the session, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill greeted the participants of on-line conference, presenting nine subjects of the agenda.
The discussion covered issues related to new appointment of arch-pastors to widowed dioceses, inter-Church relations, development of Orthodox pilgrimage, theological education, approval of new liturgical texts of services to recently beatified saints, etc.
