Holy Unction Service held at the Church of St Catherine in Sydney
His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyaneon was invited by Parish Priest, Fr Athanasios Giatsios, to conduct the Sacrament of Holy Unction at the Church of St Catherine in Mascot, Sydney, on Wednesday the 10th of February. At the conclusion of the service His Grace reminded the congestion that on this day, together with St Haralambos, we also commemorate five additional martyrs (former idolaters) who were greatly inspired by St Haralambos that they publicly confessed Jesus as being the true God. These included the two tormenting executioners, Porphyrios and Baptos, as well as the Three Holy Women whose names are unknown to us, but known to God.
