Head of Moscow Patriarchate’s commission on protection of motherhood calls for abortion to be included in Russia’s mortality rate

The director of the Moscow Patriarchate’s commission on family matters, protection of motherhood and childhood, Maria Studenikina, this week again called for the designation of abortion as a death of a human.
She added that the number of abortions in the vast country should be included in public health statistics for mortality in Russia.

As such, the commission director has sent a relevant letter on the matter to Russian Federation Prime Minister Mikhail Mishu-stin.
