30-year anniversary of Resurrection of Christ theological seminary in Albania

A service was officiated on Saturday by clerics who are graduates of the theological academy Resurrection of Christ, at the Catholicon of the Holy Monastery of St. Blaise, or Vlasios, in the Albanian port city of Durres.
The year marks the 30-year anniversary of the foundation of the theological academy by the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania, which emerged in the wake of decades of oppression and enforced atheism by a vile communist regime that ruled Albania up until 1990.

Graduates of the academy, both clerics and laity, also met with the resident Metropolitan of Apollonia and Fieri, His Eminence Nikolaos.
