His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America offered an Agiasmos for the beginning of the school year for students of the Greek American Institute at the Zoodohos Peghe Greek Orthodox Church located in the Bronx, NY. Approximately 200 students are enrolled in the Greek American Institute (GAI). Among those in attendance at the Agiasmos were Rev. Protopresbyter Elias Villis, Chancellor of the Archdiocesan District, Zoodohos Peghe Parish priest Father Vasilios Louros and GAI Principal Rosie Sifuentes. (September 26, 2023)
