Cutting of the Vasilopita at the Community of the Holy Archangels Sosthenion, Constantinople
On Thursday, 11 January 2023, at the Church of the Holy Archangels in the Sosthenion Community of Constantinople, the Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the Feast Day of the Synaxis of the Holy Myriads of Angels and the memory of Saint Theodosios the Cenobiarch, was officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Athenagoras of Kydonia, Patriarchal Overseer of the Bosphorus District.
Following the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Athenagoras then blessed and cut the traditional Vasilopita, which was shared among the congregation while wishes for a blessed new year were also conveyed to all.
