Divine Liturgy at Panagia Paramythia, Vlach Saray, Constantinople
On Saturday, 20 January 2024, at the premises of the Community of Panagia Paramythia Vlach Saray, the Synaxis of Panagia Paramythia was pre-celebrated, with the Divine Liturgy and the Artoklasia (Blessing of the 5 Loaves) which was conducted by the Grand Protosyncellus Archimandrite Gregorios. Distinguished chanters Symeon Soltaridis and Panagiotis Raktivan both chanted the sacred hymns of the Feast.
A Trisagion Memorial Service was also held for the repose of the souls of the founders, Hierarchs, Priests, benefactors, and members of the Community who have fallen asleep in the Lord.
The Vasilopita for the new year was blessed and cut by His Grace Bishop Adrianos of Halicarnassus, Supervisor of the Phanar – Golden Horn District. The President of the Community Committee, Mr. Lakis Vigas, Archon Grand Hartofylax of the Great Church of Christ, addressed a greeting to all those who were present for the feast day, while a community reception followed the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy.
