Patron Saint-day of the Military Base “South”

Saint Stephen of Dechani, Patron Saint of the Military Base “South”, was solemnly celebrated in this base with the Holy Liturgy which was officiated by His Grace Bishop Pahomije of Vranje on 24 November 2018.

The feast-day’s joy was enhanced by chanting of responses by nuns from the monastery of Holy Archangel Stephen and the monastery of Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon, as well as by members of the choir Saint Prohor of Pchinja at Bujanovac.

The service was attended by the Army Commander Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic, Commander of the 4th Army Brigade Brigadier General Slobodan Stopa, and the Commander of the Military Base “South” and the 41st Infantry Battalion, Major Sasa Vuckovic; officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers and friends of the 4th Brigade of the Army.
