His Grace Bishop Gregorios (Khoury Abdullah), Bishop of the Emirates visited Kuwait at the invitation of His Eminence Metropolitan Ghattas (Hazim) and held meetings with the parish. He spoke on the incident of Zacchaeus the tax collector and projected it on spiritual life. His Grace also addressed the youth about time and the importance of making a sound usage of it, according to the saying of Saint Paul the Apostle: “Redeem the times, for the days are evil.”
His Grace concluded his visit by celebrating the Divine Liturgy with the pastor of the diocese on Friday. In the sermon, he gave his wishes to the faithful for the feast of the Presentation of the Lord to the Temple and asked about the role of parents in educating their children into the word of the Lord and the faith.
