A LETTER OF APPRECIATION
REGARDING YOUR RESPONSE TO OUR SUMMONS TO PRAYER
Μost beloved Clergy, Monastics and Faithful
of our God-protected Eastern American Diocesan Family,
CHRIST IS RISEN!
Kindy permit me to thank each and every one of you for the bountiful response to my earnest request for the names of your loved ones, both among the living and those departed. Do know that, together with my staff, we have faithfully held true to our promise to liturgically commemorate all such names submitted, as well as the heartfelt accompanying messages!
In so doing it availed us of the rare opportunity to see your faces in these messages and while celebrating the services of Holy Week, the Resurrection and Bright Week, to be able to spiritually travel the expanse of our Diocese in the eternal present, where there is neither simply past, nor future, only the present – the eternal “now” of the Liturgy. As such we are all one in the Risen Lord and all, without exception, with Him today in Paradise, already remembering tomorrow.
May our Lord keep all of you well, until such time that we can see and embrace one other in the love of Christ Jesus!
Until then, good health and abounding joy to you and yours!
