The US Supreme Court this week is expected to decide whether a 40-foot, 16-ton Latin Cross standing on public land in Bladensburg, Maryland, conforms to constitutional Church-state separation in America.
The now publicly maintained memorial was built in 1925 to honor 49 local men who fought and died in World War I.
