The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, on Monday bestowed the Holy Cross of the Apostle and Evangelist Mark to the head of Cairo’s Hellenic Cultural Center, Ioannis Fourtounas.
The Primate of the Patriarchate of Alexandria praised the research work of Prof. Fourtounas, whose research has uncovered often forgotten aspects of Hellenism in the ancient land.
