The Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral this week reported yet another instance of harassment of an Orthodox cleric in the country. Specifically, the Church said a group of youths gathered outside the home of priest Nikola Randovic, in the city of Bar, and started to threaten him and his family.
The level of persecution and harassment of Orthodoxy, its clerics and faithful in the small Adriatic country is unprecedented for 21st century Europe, and comes on the heels of a contentious law that the Church says allows the state to confiscate its assets and relics.
