The NBA’s best defensive player for the 2019-2020 season, Milwaukee Bucks power forward Yannis Antetokounmpo, stressed that “first of all, I’d like to thank God,” during a brief acceptance speech.
Antetokounmpo, who was born in Greece to immigrants from Nigeria, has been baptized into the Orthodox faith.
“Without my teammates this wouldn’t be possible.”
