Antioch Patriarchate – Visits to the Parishes of Antioch and Alexandretta – Second Week

The Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Jack (Khalil), the patriarchal delegate to the faithful in the parishes of Antioch and Alexandretta, held the Great Compline prayer in the hall of the Dormition Church in Samandag, which was destroyed due to the earthquake in February 2023.

The Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Jack (Khalil) conveyed the love, prayers, and blessings of His Beatitude Patriarch John X during the pastoral visits he made. He also visited the new mayor (mukhtar) of Samandag, Mr. Selim Emaktash, who was elected yesterday.

The Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Jack Khalil arrived at Adana Airport on Monday, April 1, and was received at the airport by Patriarchal Vicar Archimandrite Paulus Orduluoglu, and Fathers Damian Yakubaglu and Trifon Yumurta. They then headed directly to the parish of St.Elias in Samandag.
