Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America – Metropolitan Joseph Appoints Mareena Boosamra Ball as New Sacred Music Chair
Metropolitan Joseph has appointed experienced church musician Mareena Boosamra Ball of Tucson, Arizona, as the new Chair of the Department of Sacred Music for the Antiochian Archdiocese. Mareena is Director of Choirs for the Rincon University High School Choral Department.
In his letter of appointment, His Eminence wrote:
“It is with great joy that I am appointing you as the new chair of the Department of Sacred Music, effective immediately. You are no stranger to this Department and, more importantly to the music of the Archdiocese, having directed your local choir for many years and being part of the fabric of our Archdiocese from birth….We are ready to support you in your efforts and equip you as best as we are able with the resources you need to improve and expand on the work of the past.”
