Archbishop Elpidophoros of America Presides over Great Vespers for the feast of Saint Spyridon at Saint Spyridon in Washington Heights, New York

Yesterday, December 11, 2023, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presided over Great Vespers for the feast of Saint Spyridon at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Washington Heights. Attended by hundreds of faithful and over 25 clergy from New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. At the end of the service John Apostolos was awarded the Medal of Saint Paul and Rev. Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Gregory Stamkopoulos was honored by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America with the Cross of the Centennial of the Archdiocese. President of the Parish Council Lydia Vagelos Callimanis presented His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros with a gift for Hellenic Education at the reception.
