His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America arrived in Chicago on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 and was greeted by His Grace Bishop Timothy of Hexamilion and Archon Kosmas (Gus) Pablecas and Archon John Manos and his family. While in Chicago, the Archbishop will attend the Metropolis of Chicago Clergy Laity Assembly and the Installation of Bishop Theofan Koja as Bishop of Philomelion of the Albanian Orthodox Diocese under the jurisdiction of the Mother Church of Constantinople. The Archbishop will also preside at the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, October 15 at Holy Taxiarhai & St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church in Niles, IL.
