Sunday, November 24, 2024, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presided over the Divine Liturgy at Ascension Greek Orthodox Church in Fairview, New Jersey, serving alongside parish priest Fr. Christos L. Pappas, who was elevated to Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne during the service. The parish community welcomed His Eminence warmly, celebrating his presence with a reception after the liturgy, during which parish youth performed traditional Greek folk dances and songs.
