On Saturday, September 23rd, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America visited Socrates Academy in Matthews, NC and presided over the laying of the cornerstone service for their high school expansion. The Archbishop was joined by His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios, His Eminence Metropolitan Dimitrios of Xanthos, and His Eminence Metropolitan Gregory of Nyssa, as well as local clergy. Also in attendance was Consul George Fostiropoulos from the Greek Embassy of Washington D.C.
