It is with joy to report the good news of His Eminence Archbishop Evgenios of Crete, who after a short course of ill health, has been discharged from hospital.
According to information from Cretalive.gr, His Eminence is being discharged today from the hospital where he has been hospitalised since last Saturday due to a respiratory infection which had been bothering him for a few days.
Archbiship Evgenios of Crete, according to the recommendation of the treating doctors, is expected to rest for the next few days and – hopefully – he will return to his duties from next Monday, 7 August 2023.
For this reason, the scheduled speech of His Eminence Archbishop Evgenios of Crete, on 4 August, in the courtyard of the Byzantine Monastery of Panagia Gouverniotissa, in Potamies, is also cancelled.
At the same time, the concern of the faithful who, with dozens of messages both on Cretalive and on social media posts, expressed their obvious anxiety about the health of the Archbishop and prayed that everything would go well. It was a challenging period, but everything went well!
