Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, on Saturday attended the enthronement of new Metropolitan of Kalavryta and Aigialeias (Egialias), His Eminence Ieronymos, and later spoke at a reception for the Church hierarch, saying, among others, that he admired for the former Metropolitan, His Eminence Amvrosios, who opted to resign.
In a high-profile statement that attracted particular attention, His Beatitude said he would like to emulate Amvrosios’ decision.
