Archbishop of America Elpidophoros meets with OCA Primate, Metropolitan Tikhon; collaboration discussed

They also discussed the con-celebration of a Divine Liturgy, and committed to blessing and encouraging the boards of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary to work together to find ways so that the two seminaries may better collaborate.

In a related development, a meeting of the board of the organization “An Endowment for Orthodoxy and Hellenism” convened this week, in the presence of Archbishop Elpidophoros.

Members of the specific non-profit organization’s board of directors this week decided to grant 20 million dollars towards the completion of the St. Nicholas National Shrine in Manhattan, at the Ground Zero site.
