Archbishop of America Elpidophoros receives newly elected Metropolitan Evangelos of Sardes

His Eminence the Archbishop of America Elpidophoros on Wednesday received Metropolitan Evangelos of Sardes, and congratulated him on his election to the historic Metropolis of the All-Venerable Ecumenical Throne.
During a fraternal and cordial meeting, the two hierarchs discussed the practical issues of transmission and reception of the Holy Metropolis of New Jersey, while the Archbishop had the opportunity to brief the Metropolitan on conclusions of the Holy Eparchial Synod.
