Archbishop of America visits St. Basil Academy in Garrison, NY
The Archbishop of America, His Eminence Elpidophoros, this week visited the St. Basil Academy in Garrison, New York, where he prayed at the graveside of his predecessor, Archbishop Michael.
He stated “…With reverence I venerated at the graveside of my ever-memorable predecessor Archbishop Michael at the St. Basil Academy. Archbishop Michael established the Greek Orthodox Youth Association and had Orthodoxy recognized as a major faith in the USA. May His Memory be eternal.”
