Archbishop of Athens & All Greece receives minister responsible for dealing with migrant/refugee crisis

The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, on Tuesday received Alternate Citizens’ Protection Minister Giorgios Koumoutsakos at the Archdiocese.
The meeting comes after last week’s approval, by the Church of Greece’s Holy Synod, of a proposal by the Church’s support center for repatriated Greeks and migrants, to implement a program that will offer shelter to unaccompanied refugee minors that entered Greece over recent years.

Koumoutsakos holds a portfolio dealing with the migrant/refugee crisis in the east Mediterranean country.
