The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, on Tuesday received the governor of the Central Macedonia region, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, at the Archdiocese of Athens.
Among others, discussion also touched to the ongoing migrant-refugee crisis faced by Greece, and in the wake of a recent agreement between state services and the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece – allowing for the latter to offer assistance, including the use of certain facilities.
