The Archbishop of Warsaw and Metropolitan of All Poland, His Beatitude Sawa, this week blessed a new bell tower at the under-construction St. Sophia Cathedral in Warsaw.
His Beatitude also referred to the significance entailed in bell ringing for the Orthodox faith.
The cathedral’s foundation stone was laid by the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, in December 2015.
