Archdiocese of America establishes 2 committees tasked with drafting new charter

Members of the Holy Eparchial Synod of the Archdiocese of America have announced the establishment of two committees to draft a new charter for the Archdiocese.
The meeting took place on Monday following an invitation by the Archbishop of America, His Eminence Elpidophoros, for an extraordinary tele-conference.

The Holy Synod expressed gratitude to Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew, and to members of the Patriarchate’s Holy and Sacred Synod for the opportunity provided to the Archdiocese of America to draft a new charter.
