Archdiocese of Australia joins efforts, encourages preservation of Modern Greek Program at Latrobe University

The Holy Archdiocese of Australia this week stated that it was following with great interest the developments regarding the preservation of the modern Greek Program at Melbourne’s Latrobe University.
The Archdiocese has actively and tirelessly participated in a rescue committee of the Program, which aims to ensure a Greek-speaking future for the next generations of Greek-Australians, while it has also praised donors who have financially supported the program, and remained committed to provide the remaining funds needed for its operation in the coming academic year.
