Athens Philharmonic Concert at Carnegie Hall to Benefit Saint Nicholas Shrine
NEW YORK – Yiannis Hadjiloizou, conducting the Athens Philharmonic in Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, “Resurrection,” will debut at Carnegie Hall on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 8 p.m. to benefit Saint Nicholas Church and National Shrine.
His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America has invited the Omogeneia to this special concert at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, organized under the generous initiative of Ms. Katerina Nafplioti Panagopoulos, who is recognized by the Greek State as Honorary Ambassador. The production will feature Mr. Hadjiloizou, an accomplished conductor, composer and pianist.
