The former head of the Serbian Orthodox Church’s Eparchy of Banat, His Grace Bishop Atanasije Jevtić, was hospitalized in the city of Trebinje on Wednesday morning, according to information given to the Orthodoxia News Agency.
The same reports referred to exhaustion as necessitating the hierarch’s hospitalization.
His Grace has for many years overseen works focusing on the life and works of St. Justin Popovic, as well as being a highly respected theologian of patristic studies.
